ディサシさんからの手紙 (2025.7.24)

Dear Fukuyama sensei,

I'm pleased to hear from you, even though the email was sent a few weeks ago. I apologize for this inadequate distribution of time between professional pursuits and personal communications, which are dear to us and recharge our energy.

The hectic pace of life can take us away from our communications, and I'm glad to have heard from you and to be able to write to you as well.

I hope you and your families are all well, and that the news from those abroad is also good.

Thank you very much for your continued concern for our plight in Democratic Republic of the Congo. M-pox is indeed a threat, and vaccination has been initiated with international assistance.

Next week, I will set off to participate in a conference on vaccination in the DRC. We will also discuss M-pox. I am a member of the National Immunization Technical Advisory Group ‘NITAG-DRC’.

Peace in the eastern part of the DRC is still awaited, and its effectiveness is growing, with increasing hope. Thank you very much for the financial contribution. This will allow me to contact the Dojin team to collect the equipment.

Please convey my sincere thanks to all our friends who support us, especially your husband and your family.

May the Lord watch over us all.

Appreciatively yours,

Disashi
